Sustainability Rocks

Sustainability is no longer a “nice to have”, it’s a business imperative and a critical global issue. Everyone wants to see action and people are becoming more engaged than ever in the process. if we don’t all step up to the mark and start addressing these social and environmental concerns today, it is our children and future generations that are going to suffer, and they are more than aware of the responsibility that rests on their shoulders.

This is why in 2021 LOFA made the decision to help its members on the journey to becoming more sustainable and to help them to reduce their carbon footprints.

LOFA partnered with PLANET MARK, a company that care about the planet and want to help businesses action and power change. Their certification recognises continuous improvement, encourages action and helps build an empowered community of like-minded individuals to make a whole world of difference.

By measuring and reducing our carbon footprint with Planet Mark we can directly and measurably contribute to up to 9 Sustainable Development Goals and address 25 SDG targets

Here at the LOFA office we undertook the Planet Mark audit and have now earned our stripes AND we saved an acre of rainforest.

Looking ahead to 2022 we want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to help the planet and that is why we are going to be running two initiatives around SOLEX, PLANT A TREE CAMPAIGN & CARBON NEUTRAL SOLEX.
